The durability of Africa Agro is built around the breadth of the products we merchandise, the balance that exists between marketed and traded products and our healthy combination of domestic and international operations. Our list of traded commodities is diverse, representing grains, pulses, oilseeds, coffee, milled grains, animal feeds and other specialty products.

AASL combines expert knowledge, service, structuring capabilities and long-term commitment to support agricultural producers, consumers and intermediaries in major markets. The company provides the service of handling in, cleaning, processing, grading & storage of commodities. The company has initiated the research for fortification of maize flour and for the purpose has engaged domestic universities.

Production of food ingredients often releases husk from coffee, cotton, groundnut & beans, cobs from maize. Much of this co-product is used as animal feed, while the remainder is burned to produce steam that generates heat and electricity. To reduce reliance on fossil fuels, AASL is promoting use of such biomass combustion to produce energy in the associate concerns to reduce the pollution, mainly nitrogen oxides (NOx), soot and ash.
